The catalogue covers industrial squirrel cage motors for general purpose.
The outputs of these motors - for appropriate frame sizes are higher than defined in European Standard EN 50347 although the mounting dimensions remain unchanged.
Three-phase motors with increased output (frame sizes up to 315) called also progressive motors are the extension of the main output series described in the Cantoni “General Purpose 3-Phase Induction Motors” catalogue.
Thus the range of motors is more diversified which enable customers to select a motor with the apriopriate output for a given drive.It gives the opportunity to avoid applying overdimensioned motors which
reduces the costs and makes the motors environmental friendly.
