Maszyny Elektryczne CELMA S.A. (join stock company) has over 90 years of experience in the production of electric machines. Since 1995 the company has followed  the Quality Management System ISO 9001-2000 (certificate issued by the Polish Register of Ships in Gdańsk and Germanischer Lloyd Certification in Hamburg) as well the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 (certificate issued by the Germanischer Lloyd Certification in Hamburg).

The major aim of the company's activities is to offer specific and complex solutions, ensure best quality and proper technical service of the electric drives.
Offered motors are made according to the Polish and worldwide standards as PN, IEC, EN, ATEX and also NEMA, CSA, UL.

The main group of motors produced by M.E. CELMA S.A. is formed by three-phase, squirrel-cage general purpose motors which are widely used in many different branches of the industry. Remaining part of production includes special motors adapted to specific operating conditions for example: in mining and chemical industry, steelworks or shipyards. Currently majority of produced motors, including explosion-proof motors, are offered with the CE declaration of conformity.

Nearly fifty percent of the production is exported to worldwide markets. Motors are delivered to USA, Canada, European Union, Middle and Far East, Africa.
