IP54/55 High Efficiency Motors
In the scope of low voltage products motors of high efficiency are currently the basic EMIT line of products. Motors are
produced in two series: SIE 315÷355 (up to 375kW according to IEC60034-30 UE Directive 640/2009) and Sh355÷500..s (up to 1500kW) acc. to IEC/EN standards. Motors SEE and Sh ... s series are of general industrial use. They are used for driving various machines and devices which work is of continuous duty without frequent starting and reversing.
Because of protection degree motors can work in dusty environment. However the dustiness of air should not exceed 10 mg/m3. Ambient air can not contain chemically aggressive contaminants like acid or lye fumes. Ambient air mustn’t contain also explosive mixtures.
When powered from frequency inverters it is permissible to continuously control motor’s speed in the following range:
- 10÷100% nN square characteristics of load torque without foreign ventilation
- 5÷100% nN constant loading characteristics with foreign ventilation (fan powered by additional motor).
Other loading conditions and permissible range of regulation must be agreed with manufacturer.
For client's request motors can be fitted with external cooling system, impulse encoder for precise speed of rotation measurement, etc.
