The “INDUKTA” Electrical Machine Factory Joint Stock Company and Ecology
The “INDUKTA” Electrical Machine Factory Joint Stock Company belongs to the firms which in a scope of their Policy have records of limiting influencing the environment and meeting all legal requirements in this scope.
Ecological projects in our factory are planned and the current influence on the environment is monitored.
Ecological indexes, which are also subject to a periodical evaluation (e.g. electrical energy consumption with reference to a production unit, similarly consumption of gas, heat energy, water, aluminium alloys, oil, raw materials etc, that is amounts of wastes created in the process) were established for processes conducted in the factory.
Consumption of some of the media mentioned above in total or with reference to a production unit was included in the annex.
The collected information is a basis to develop periodical environmental reports. To order procedures in a scope of the environment protection in 2001 we introduced an Environment the management systems we had into one, the Integrated System of Quality Management and Environment Management.
Environmental aspects are periodically updated for particular processes in the factory, and it results in finding significant aspects which we plan to deal with in the nearest future.
At present the most important topics for us (significant aspects) are:

Policy of the integrated system of quality management and environment management
Considering the mission of FME INDUKTA (Electrical Machine Factory) specified as aiming at a constant increase of client’s satisfaction and a decrease in an influence of products, processes and their execution on the natural environment, the Superior management establishes basic principles of policy of the Integrated System of Quality Management and Environment Management specified below:
Principles of quality policy:
Existence and development of FME INDUKTA S.A. (Electrical Machine Factory Joint Stock Company) depend on recognizing and meeting requirements made by the market, for that reason:
• manufactured products should be characterized by the highest quality conforming to expectations and needs of clients,
• manufactured products have to meet quality technical and environmental requirements, which are specified by standards and domestic and international regulations,
• manufactured products should be supplied to clients on the agreed delivery dates, considering their needs and expectations,
ent’s complaints,
• reacting quickly to C• manufactured products should have competitive prices.
Aiming at meeting the above requirements and client’s satisfaction connected with it, we put
a particular emphasis on:
• production planning according to orders and wishes of clients,
• supervising product manufacturing processes to improve them constantly ,
• lowering internal costs of quality (prevention, correction, discards etc),
• lowering costs of product manufacturing,
• aiming at lowering number of Clilient’s complaints and remarks.
At the same time:
• we co-operate with suppliers of services, raw materials, machines and equipment and co-operating parties who guarantee appropriate quality of goods and services and promptness of execution, according to requirements of INDUKTA and our Clients,
• we train our staff to improve knowledge awareness and involvement of the employees to improve quality of a final product.
Principles of environment policy:
In connection with electrical motors we influence the natural environment by:
• conducting production processes ( emission of dust gas effluents, noise, production of wastes and wastewater)
• consumption of power energy factors (furnace oil, natural gas, coke, fuel oil, propane –butane, electrical energy, heat energy) and water,
• consumption of natural raw materials (steel, cast iron, copper, aluminium, sand, bentonite, coal dust, limestone etc.),
• introduction of products to the environment,
we aim at constant limiting a disadvantageous influence on the environment using:
• monitoring and lowering consumption of power energy factors and water,
• monitoring and limiting emission of dust gas effluents to the atmosphere,
• limiting consumption of natural raw materials,
• liquidating or limiting leaks of oils from machines and equipment,
• strict supervision over conducted processes with use of chemical substances (paints, varnishes, solvents, cleaning formulas for details etc) ,
• monitoring wastes and wastewater produced and aiming at their minimalization.

At the same time:
• we conduct activities according to legal requirements in force in the country, and good co-operation with the environment protection bodies helps us maintain an image of a firm taking care of the natural environment,
• we improve constantly ecological awareness of the staff and we ensure easy access to information ,
• we make designing a product and production technology, production planning and removing and recycling of used products taking limiting of the influence of those processes on the natural environment into account,
• we choose suppliers, raw materials machines and equipment and services and co-operating parties also considering their influence on the environment.
