dSg series | Three-phase "Explosion Proof" motors with squirrel-cage rotor for mining industry

General purpose explosion-proof motors for mining industry according to IEC60079-0 and IEC60079-1 standard with ATEX certificate.

Motors are designed for operation in mines endangered by the explosion of the methane and coal dust in the spaces (zones 1 and 2) where explosive mixtures of combustible gases and steams of liquid with air can occur.

These motors belong to the category M2, 2G according to the Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX)
